Eva Longoria's ability to breathe raw emotion into even the most nonsensical of pop songs is impressive. 

The actress sat down with Mashable to perform a dramatic reading of the Spice Girls' '90s hit "Wannabe" in the persona of a soap opera star, and it's amazing. Longoria, who stars in and directs the NBC sitcom "Telenovela" about a soap opera set, certainly has a flair for the dramatics. 

It's safe to say all the Spices would be proud.
