University of Wisconsin's Sam Dekker Dunked So Hard, The Ball Went Through The Hoop Twice
It didn’t count, but Sam Dekker’s gravity-defying alley-oop may have been the “best dunk of March Madness."
During Wisconsin's win over Oregon on Sunday, the Badgers' forward dunked with so much force that the ball went through the hoop not once, but twice.
Dekker’s unlikely shot “should’ve counted as 4 points,” Fansided noted, but as Wisconsin had already called a timeout, it didn't count at all.
Still, Wisconsin ended up besting Oregon 72-65 and Dekker was the top scorer for his team with 17 points.
The top-seeded Badgers will play No. 4 seed North Carolina on Thursday.
