Tucker Carlson's Brother Calls De Blasio Spokeswoman A 'Whiny Little Self-Rightous B***h' In Leaked Email

If you write a vulgar, sexist email insulting a woman you interact with professionally -- and you really, really shouldn't -- make sure you don't hit "reply all" afterward.

Buckley Carlson, the brother of Daily Caller founder Tucker Carlson and a self-described "crisis communications media consultant," did just that Wednesday afternoon in response to a request from New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio’s spokeswoman, Amy Spitalnick.

The email chain, obtained by Buzzfeed News, kicked off when Spitalnick contacted The Daily Caller to correct a story about de Blasio's comments on a presidential transportation proposal. In his reply, which copied Spitalnick, Buckley Carlson refers to her as a "whiny little self-righteous bitch," then muses about the supposed irony of her last name, Spitalnick:

Ironic because you just know she has extreme dick-fright; no chance has this girl ever had a pearl necklace. Spoogeneck? I don’t think so. More like LabiaFace.

Rebecca Katz, a spokeswoman for the mayor, confirmed the accuracy of the email chain to The Huffington Post, pointing to a tweet from Spitalnick for further comment.

"Sadly, too many women face misogynistic garbage like this far too often," Spitalnick wrote.

The reply-all followed an earlier email from Tucker Carlson to Spitalnick, admonishing her for having a "whiny and annoying" tone.

"Outside of New York City, adults generally write polite, cheerful emails to one another, even when asking for corrections," Tucker Carlson wrote. "Something to keep in mind the next time you communicate with people who don’t live on your island."

In an email to HuffPost, he stood by his brother's comments: "I just talked to my brother about his response, and he assures me he meant it in the nicest way."
